When considering the cost of transport, it's important to know there is no fixed price. Each transport request is unique, with specific requirements, so no two transports are exactly alike. Here are some general factors that affect the cost of transport.
Where are we picking up and delivering your vehicle? The distance of the shipment is a major factor in determining the cost. Longer distances generally cost more than shorter ones.
Factor 2: Vehicle TypeWhat’s the year, make, and model of your vehicle? Larger, heavier units will cost more to transport compared to smaller, lighter ones.
Factor 3: Shipping MethodDo you prefer tow-away, hauling, or driveaway service? While most transports are done via our towing service, we also offer hauling for units that can’t be towed and driveaway service for motorized vehicles.
Factor 4: SeasonalityWhen is your vehicle ready for transport? The time of year affects shipping costs. Demand during peak seasons like summer can increase prices, while off-season transport may be more affordable.
We ask that you carefully prepare your transport or travel trailer. Following these simple steps will help make sure that there are no safety incidents or delays during transport.
Check Your Trailer Lights
Ensure all trailer lights are functioning properly, including brake, turn, clearance, and license plate lights.
Inspect Wheels & Axles
Check the wheels and axles for proper lubrication. It’s recommended to grease bearings, seals, and cups every 12 months or 12,000 miles.
Verify Weight Rating
Do not overload your trailer. Check the gross trailer weight rating (GTWR) to avoid overloading, which can lead to tire blowouts and damage.
Secure Personal Items
Make sure all personal items inside the trailer are secured. Close and lock cabinet doors if possible, and place loose items in a secure area.
Disconnect Power Supply
Disable the power supply to prevent accidental activation of electrical components or battery drainage. Unplug appliances and disconnect the battery.
Remove Hazardous Materials
Remove any hazardous materials such as gas tanks, propane tanks, or ammunition from the trailer. Carriers can be fined if such items are found during transport.

Understanding Vehicle Types for Transport It's essential to recognize the differences between recreational vehicles, travel trailers, and campers, especially when arranging transport. Although these terms are often used interchangeably, each has distinct characteristics that can affect transportation.
Recreational Vehicle Transport
Recreational vehicles are often motorhomes equipped with various home amenities. They can be either motorized or non-motorized. Transporting these vehicles typically involves hauling, towing, or drive-away services.
Trailer Transport
Trailers are unpowered vehicles towed by another vehicle, primarily used to haul items. They are not motorized.
Camper Transport
Campers, also known as travel trailers, come in various types such as pop-ups, truck campers, and teardrops.
